Eloquence has been forgotten...

Sometimes in order to express ones feelings it is best to leave it up to someone much more eloquent than oneself.  I have been so disappointed in our political 'leaders' recently (years, actually).  Here is a quotation from one of the most eloquent, intelligent, inspiring people in recent history, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.:

"Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true." -- Martin Luther King, Jr., 1963
Where is our voice of reason?  Where is our eloquence?  I guess they don't fit into a sound bite. Shame on us.
